Fuerteventura

Fuerteventura is the second biggest island of all the Canary Islands. The climate is all year mild and pleasant. There always blows a slight breeze and the temperature doesn’t increase over 30 degrees even not in the summertime. In the winter the temperature nearly stays the same and the average is about 20 degrees. Actually, it doesn’t rain on Fuerteventura and if it rains it doesn’t stay for long. For water athletes we have the best conditions.

La Pared is a small village abroad from the touristic part and is located only 5 km from Costa Calma on the south west coast. A beautiful beach and crystal clear water- feels like being in the Caribbean!  In the village you can find two beautiful Spanish restaurants, a café and a mini supermarket. There are waves 356 days a year and we find the best spot for you every day. The never ending white beaches and the crystal clear water make Fuerteventura to the perfect island for your holidays!

Nearly every airport offers cheap flights to Fuerteventura. The prices vary according the season and are around 150- 350 Euros (Condor, Tui fly, Air Berlin). If you want to catch a really cheap flight, check out Ryan air. It just takes 4 hours to get here. There are public buses on the island or just rent a car. The easiest way is to book a car online and to pick it up from the airport. To rent a car in the cities is more expensive. In Costa Calma are a couple of shopping malls and shopping facilities. You also can find some nightlife in different bars and clubs. Tuesday, Friday and Saturday are the best days to go out. To get from Costa Calma to La Pared in a cab costs about 12 Euros at night and 10 Euros during the day.

On the west coast and up the north are a lot of good spots for surfing and they are for all levels. Lots of beach breaks for beginners and advanced surfers and a couple of secrets spots for experienced surfers in the south, make the search for the perfect wave exciting.

On the east coast are best conditions for windsurfing and kite surfing. There is a lot to do and to see: Diving, biking, sailing or driving with a quad. A trip to the inland, for example Betancuria, Ayui or Pajara, definitely worth it. Or a day trip to the north to see Cortillo or Corralejo takes just 1,5 hours by car. In the south (30 km) is Jandia the tourism center and Morro Jable a fisherman village. It takes about 30 min in bus and it’s always good for a shopping tour. Shops, little Spanish restaurants, tapa bars on the esplanade in Morro Jable are inviting to stay for diner with sea view.
